Material selection criteria
The cylinder adopted in this equipment selects AA6061 aluminium alloy as its core material. As a widely used heat-treatable strengthened aluminium alloy, AA6061 boasts an extremely balanced set of comprehensive properties: it not only possesses moderate mechanical strength, enabling it to stably withstand the reciprocating loads and pressures during the cylinder’s operation, but also exhibits excellent toughness and fatigue resistance, which effectively prevents deformation or damage during long-term service. Meanwhile, this material features outstanding corrosion resistance—whether in a normal atmospheric environment or slightly humid and dusty working conditions, it can effectively resist oxidation and rust, thereby prolonging the cylinder’s service life. In addition, AA6061 aluminium alloy offers exceptional machinability, facilitating precision cutting, stamping, welding and other forming processes. It can accurately meet the cylinder’s strict requirements for dimensional accuracy, sealing performance and assembly compatibility. Furthermore, its prominent lightweight property allows it to reduce the overall energy consumption of the equipment while ensuring structural strength, providing reliable material support for the efficient and stable operation of the equipment.
PERFORMANCE TESTING OF THE CYLINDER
To ensure operational reliability, safety, and compliance with industry technical specifications, a high-performance cylinder must undergo a rigorous and systematic suite of tests and multi-dimensional validations prior to formal commissioning. These include mechanical property verification, sealing performance evaluation, fatigue durability testing, environmental adaptability assessment, and dimensional accuracy calibration, which comprehensively validate the product’s structural integrity, functional stability, and long-term service capability under actual working conditions, thereby meeting the stringent quality requirements for practical application
